Octopus Cash is the newest product from Octopus Investments designed to give clients a better rate on their savings, while making sure they’re covered by the FSCS. We work with a number of smaller banks who offer some of the best savings rates around.

Created by the fintech arm of the Octopus Group, Octopus Labs, in 2017, Octopus Cash now has over £100m AUM with nearly 400 active advisers offering the service to their clients. The sales team has grown from nothing to 6 business development managers, with scope to expand further throughout 2019 as the product offering develops.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re hiring an experienced sales manager who can lead the team into the next phase of development. Daily roles and responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management of the team
  • Call coaching using the latest technology to identify development and training needs
  • Using proven data driven coaching methods to encourage the team to enhance their skills
  • Recruitment, using a data driven hiring model, to grow the team

There will be requirement to coach various team members on face to face meetings, as well as attending these yourself when required. We currently use a variety of different mediums to reach our target audience, financial advisers, so experience of face to face meetings, presenting, hosting webinars and webex calls is essential.

You will be tasked with ensuring the team are armed with all the collateral and skills they need to perform their daily roles, including working with marketing, pushing social media campaigns, liaising with teams across the wider business and maintaining process and training documents.

Octopus Cash is using technology & data to make the sales process far more streamlined and efficient so this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to update their skills set.
