We are offering the opportunity for an enthusiastic Test Analyst with interest and experience in testing financial software to join our DevOps testing team. Octopus is a rapidly growing company looking to build out and upgrade our existing in-house systems. Since we launched in 2000, we’ve established market leading positions in tax-efficient investment, smaller company financing, renewable energy and healthcare.

As a Test Analyst, you will be part of an agile scrum team testing a 3rd party portfolio management application focussing on dealing, book of records, transactions, valuations, reporting and enquiries amongst others. Your specific task will be to ensure that the functionality implemented meets business users’ expectations. We use LIBRIS Financial as our Portfolio Management solution that includes several modules.

· You have an immense attention to detail

· You have an appreciation for both manual and automated testing

· You are pretty good at understanding complex business concepts

· You love working in a rapidly moving environment, managing your time efficiently between multiple concurrent projects, evolving requirements and time pressures

· You are very ‘hands-on’, and love getting your hands dirty in the detail

· You have a "can do" attitude and love to experiment and learn

· You don’t always resort to the tried and tested - you embrace change and find innovative solutions to problems
